Personas
jauntyangle.com
Case Study: Edie's Online Shoe Store
The client identified three user profiles who would be
accessing the Edie's web site most frequently. Several users
who fit this profile were observed and interviewed as they
interacted with other online shoe sites. Personas were created
from the key trends identified from these interviews, based on

Wireframes
jauntyangle.com
Case Study: Edie's Online Shoe Store
Wireframes were created to illustrate key path workflows that
reflect the needs of the personas, as well as the client's
business goals. The framework focuses on the overall
structure of the site, all main components and key content
areas. It describes key features and interface elements
and how they work together.

Visual Design
jauntyangle.com
Case Study: Edie's Online Shoe Store
As soon as the wireframes successfully captured the framework
of the site, the visual design process began. Two to three
compositions of one main view were created to illustrate various
graphic treatments and color palettes. A design direction was
chosen and revised until it met both client specifications and
end-user goals.
